Beautiful example of the Thoroughbred Stallion (Large)model 1772 from the Beswick Stable and designed by arguably the best designer of anything Beswick -Arthur Gredington.
This was available between 1961-1989 and this example is an earlier mould…look at the colouration,the eye detail and note the overall blue sheen …which is much better in real life than my photos portray!
I shall be sorry to see this one go …..he’s such a nice example and in perfect vintage condition except for a well restored ear see last photo.Has Beswick round stamp .
He stands 8 inches 20.3 cm tall
