This is a lovely rare ,Royal Doulton Dark Brown Matt Arab' Xayal 'DA14
A Connoisseur Model that was available only for one year 1989-1990.....hence its rarity!
It is the same mould as the Beswick Xayal model nos 1265 designed by Arthur Gredington, but of course by 1998 Royal Doulton had acquired the Beswick factory.
This is on a wooden stand and has the Royal Doulton backstamp on the horses belly.He stands 7.25 inches high(18.4 cm)
