An impressive large horse hunter figurine in brown gloss from the Beswick stable.He stands almost 12 inches tall!
This is a stunning piece .A very well proportioned horse with lovely shading and muscle definition,plus great eye detail.A real stand out piece !
He was designed by Arthur Gredington and in production between 1963-1984....a second version with arched tail attached to off side hock.
Sadly he has been slightly in the wars in a previous home and has a reglued leg and tail and a merest nick of tip of one ear ( see photos )but still is a great display piece at a very bargain price .
